You would have laughed if you saw me this morning as I was freaking out about being a TA for the first time. I have been in this program every summer since I was ten. I finally graduated and was hired to be a teacher's assistant for the summer. I went to the training, got my assignment, and then the nerves started to kick in at full swing. I was so scared it was terrible. I didn't know how to socialize with the kids, and I thought that my personality was so different they wouldn't look up to me... But guess what everything went fantastic. I met my advisory, and talked a long time with a girl on my bus who shares my love for Twilight, chess, and France, and she is one of my students. I absolutely love this, and I can't wait to blog about it everyday.
